Why choose teaching?
1. Impact Creation
Witness the magic of knowledge transfer and values in action. Your words resonate beyond the classroom, shaping lives and moulding futures. Every student you inspire becomes an active contributor and concerned citizen who improves their communities.
2. Personal Growth
Teaching isn't just about imparting facts; it's about continuous learning. Adapt, innovate, and evolve alongside your students. Discover new facets of yourself as you guide them towards understanding and discovery.
3. Transferable Skills
Your diverse background brings a unique perspective. Leverage your skills - whether from finance, engineering, art or more - to create engaging lessons. Teach students to learn by creating curiosity and by developing adaptive thinking and other skills that they will need to thrive in the future.
4. Job Satisfaction
Few careers offer the intrinsic rewards of teaching. The 'Aha!" moments, the strong bonds forged, and the legacy you leave - it's a canvas waiting for your brushstrokes.
We will support your career transition
When you make the decision to join the teaching profession as an experienced hire, you can expect dedicated transition support to help you navigate the changes and ease your switch to teaching.
In addition to sponsored teacher-training at the National Institute of Education (NIE), we have school-based induction programmes as well as personal mentorship for new teachers, so that your integration into your new role and workplace will not only be smooth, but also enriching.
