Deployment as PE Teacher
Embarking on a career as a PE teacher is a journey filled with growth and the joy of shaping young lives. As a prospective teacher, your school experience and teacher training are designed to be as dynamic and multi-faceted as the students you'll inspire.
Dual-Level Training
The PE teacher preparatory programme is a dual-level training model that prepares you well to inspire and educate students in physical education across primary and secondary/JC school years. This comprehensive approach ensures you have a strong grasp of developmental stages and motor skills, emphasising the holistic development of young individuals.
Your First Adventure: Qualified PE Teacher
Picture your first two years in a primary school environment, where you will joyfully lay the foundations of physical education, igniting a passion for movement and health in young hearts, and guiding them towards lifelong fitness and well-being.
Depending on the staffing situation upon completing your teacher preparatory training, we may deploy you to a secondary school where you will further enhance students' proficiency in various sports, fostering teamwork and leadership skills, and promoting lifelong physical activity and well-being.
The Path Forward: Opportunities Abound
After your first school posting, your adventure continues. If you desire to embrace the unique challenges and rewards of teaching a different age group, opportunities to transition to primary/secondary schools await, subject to organisational requirements and staffing vacancies.
Your journey as a PE Teacher is not fixed but brimming with potential and opportunities. Your dedication to teaching, coupled with our commitment to nurturing your growth and supporting your career aspirations, ensures that you will have the chance to explore, evolve, and carve your niche within our supportive teaching community.
