3. Selection process
The selection process consists of 4 components, which may not take place in sequence. The components are:
- 1-day OAE selection programme
- 1-day OAE attachment programme
- Selection interview
- Medical examination
1-Day OAE Selection Programme
If you are shortlisted, you will be required to attend a 1-day compulsory selection programme at an MOE Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre, where you will be assessed on your competencies for various height- and water-based activities. The selection programme will typically be conducted within 1 month from the closing date of the application window.
Results will be released to you via email at the end of the selection programme.
1-Day OAE Attachment Programme and Selection Interview
If you are shortlisted after the selection programme, you will be required to attend a 1-day compulsory attachment programme at an MOE Outdoor Adventure Learning Centre, typically a week later after the selection programme. Interview will also be conducted during the attachment programme. The purpose of this attachment is to:
- Provide a preview of the job to allow you to better affirm your interest in the OAE role
- Enable MOE to further assess your suitability for the job
Medical Examination
You will be required to undergo a medical examination, which will be fully paid by MOE. You will be contacted with instructions regarding the medical examination.
Please go for the medical examination as soon as possible to facilitate the processing of your application.
