4. Compulsory Untrained School Stint

The final part of the process for entry into the foundational training programme is a compulsory stint as an untrained SEN Officer at a school. The stint allows you to affirm your interest to be a SEN Officer, and lets us assess your suitability for the role.

During the Untrained School Stint, you will be guided by a mentor and supported by the school.

The stint generally lasts at least 4 months, and will continue until your enrolment in the foundational training programme.
