Edusave awards and scholarships: Receive award

2. Receive award

Notification letter

Edusave award recipients will receive a notification letter from MOE.

Award ceremony

You will also receive a letter from your Constituency Office (CO) with details of the award ceremony.

If you did not receive the letter from your CO, or are unable to attend the ceremony, check with the Community Club (CC) on how to collect the certificate and receive the award monies. Find out which CO you are currently served by.

Students in special education (SPED) schools will receive details from their school. The award ceremony will be conducted by the school, not by the CO or CC.

Receive award monies

Award recipients should register for PayNow before the award ceremony. If PayNow registration is successful, they can expect to receive the award monies via PayNow within 1 week after attending the award ceremony.

For students who are unable to attend the award ceremony, they can typically expect to receive the award monies via PayNow in late March. For 2025, the last day for payout is:

  • Friday, 21 March 2025, for students in primary schools, secondary schools, specialised schools, junior colleges and Millenia Institute.
  • Tentatively June 2025 for students in ITE Nitec courses.
  • Tentatively December 2025 for students in ITE Higher Nitec and polytechnic courses.

If they are unable to register for PayNow or if PayNow disbursement is unsuccessful, MOE will contact you to submit your child’s bank details via FormSG.

The monies will be credited to your child’s bank account approximately 2 weeks after we receive their bank details. You will receive a confirmation letter by mail after the credit is successful.

Award monies will not be credited into a parent’s personal bank account or given in cash.
