Diploma after ITE? We’ve got you.

The IPA helps with the costs of obtaining a diploma and boosts your savings for longer-term goals. It is part of the Government’s investment in your education and skills journey.

IPA costs

The award is available to all Singapore Citizens who meet all the criteria below:

  • Attained a Nitec or Higher Nitec
  • Enrol in an eligible diploma
  • At age 30 or below (at the point of diploma enrolment)

You will automatically receive the top-ups in your Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) or CPF Ordinary Account (CPF-OA) after you enrol in or complete your diploma.

The IPA will also be awarded to the following groups:

  • Singaporean ITE grads already enrolled in a diploma issued by an MOE-funded institution as of 1 Mar 2024, regardless of their age, will receive a $10,000 top-up to their CPF-OA account upon completion of the diploma.
  • Singaporean ITE graduates aged 31 in 2024 (born between 1 Jan 1993 and 31 Dec 1993) who enrol in a diploma issued by an MOE-funded institution in 2024, will be awarded the IPA.
