Question
To ask the Minister for Education whether neuroscience-backed programmes can be introduced in schools to help students understand their thought patterns and learn to manage stress and uncertainty.
Response
1. Our schools' curriculum includes mental health education that teaches students skills to manage stress and conflicts, break negative thinking patterns, and navigate uncertainties. This curriculum is developed based on research and evidence-based practices, including an understanding of brain functions and affective neuroscience.
