Release of 2024 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level Examination Results

Candidates who sat for the 2024 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O-Level) Examination collected their results from their secondary schools today.1
2. A total of 22,661 candidates sat for the 2024 GCE O-Level Examination. 22,624 (99.8%) of these candidates have achieved Grade C6 or better in at least one O-Level subject.2 22,042 (97.3%) and 19,884 (87.7%) of the candidates have achieved Grade C6 or better in at least 3 or more and 5 or more O-Level subjects respectively. This is comparable to the performance of candidates for the GCE O-Level Examination in previous years.
Joint Admissions Exercise
3. Students who wish to apply for admission to junior colleges (JCs), Millennia Institute (MI), polytechnics, and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) may do so via the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) using their O-Level examination results. The JAE application period is from 4pm on Friday, 10 January 2025 to 4pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025.
4. Eligible school candidates and private candidates will receive a digital copy of Form A3 via their registered email addresses from 3pm on Friday, 10 January 2025. All candidates eligible for JAE may also download a copy of the Form A from the JAE-Internet System (JAE-IS) during the application period.
5. The JAE-IS will be accessible from 4pm on Friday, 10 January 2025, to 4pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025 for applicants to submit their course choices through the JAE website at www.moe.gov.sg/jae. Applicants are strongly encouraged to use the JAE worksheet (www.moe.gov.sg/jaeworksheet) before submitting their online application. The JAE-IS can be accessed using Singpass. 6. Students are encouraged to explore the range of education and career pathways available to them to make informed decisions about their next steps. They may refer to the following websites for more information:

7. Students may also consult their teachers or ECG Counsellors in their respective secondary schools about their next steps. Alternatively, they can make an ECG counselling appointment via the ECG Centre @ MOE at go.gov.sg/moe-ecg-centre. The ECG Centre @ MOE offers online or phone counselling services from Monday, 6 January 2025 to Thursday, 16 January 2025, from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays.

The GCE O-Level certificate is awarded to candidates who obtain at least a Grade C6 or better in at least one subject.

Form A will list the applicant’s gross aggregate scores for JC, MI, polytechnics and ITE aggregate types, and courses which he/she is eligible to apply for under the JAE.
