  1. Visit the schools' websites to learn about their selection processes, schedules and requirements.
  2. Take note of any potential interview, audition or trial dates, especially when applying to multiple schools as these trials take up your child's time.

Note:

The admission quotas for DSA-Sec vary depending on school types:

  • Integrated Programme (IP) schools generally admit about 30%-35% of their S1 IP intake through DSA-Sec.
  • Non-IP schools can admit up to 20% of their S1 intake through DSA-Sec.
  • Specialised independent schools such as NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, School of the Arts, School of Science and Technology can admit 100% of their S1 intake through DSA-Sec.
