Potential career path and developmental opportunities for scholars

Upon graduation, scholars will be inducted into SATS' Graduate Assimilation Programme (GAP), which will allow them exposure across the breadth and depth of SATS' businesses and allow them access and insights into SATS' Senior Management Team as well.

In the course of their stint in SATS, scholars will also undergo talent development through Development Assessment Centres, which serve to review talents for the Talent Pools and assess talents to provide- development gaps for the next job level. Deliberate steps are also taken to ensure that talents have sufficient exposure to different job functions within SATS. These rotation plans form part of a talent’s individual development plan, which the Human Capital team uses to keep track of a talent’s career and personal development and to help these individuals close any competency gaps to reach their career goals.

SATS also sends talents to attend global leadership development programmes attended by high potentials from other large local companies, such as programmes by the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) and INSEAD, to encourage networking and broadening of perspectives.
