You do not need to apply for the Tuition Grant Scheme if you are a Singapore Citizen. This is only for Permanent Residents and international students.
The application steps will differ based on your level of studies:

Apply during matriculation
- Once you are enrolled in a course, your institution will ask you to declare your eligibility for tuition grant by completing the Tuition Grant Option Form.
- After your institution has informed that you are eligible, you can submit your application through the TG&S portal. Refer to the user guide for more information.
- The online application period varies across institutions. Check the dates with your institution.
- Attend the freshmen briefing organised by your institution and refer to the briefing slides to learn more about the application process.
- You must submit your application through the TG&S portal during the application period. If you miss it, you are required to pay the full fees.
Undergraduate studies in autonomous universities and arts institutions
Apply during admission exercise
- As you select your course choices, do indicate your interest to apply for tuition grant.
- If you are offered a course and have been informed that you can register for tuition grant, you can submit your application through the TG&S portal. Refer to the user guide for more information.

Making changes to your application
- You can make changes to your personal information and sureties’ details during the online application period through the TG&S portal.
- Make sure all changes are completed before you sign the Tuition Grant Agreement. You can log in to the TG&S portal to check.
- If the application period has ended, you can submit a request using the TG Enquiry Form.
