My School Community
Teachers, students, support officers, canteen vendors and more. A school is not complete without its community! Meet some of them through these stories.
Our canteen, our playground
By Ms Woon Ai Ling
Kranji Primary School
Our school canteen is undoubtedly the “happiest place in school” for our students. It is where our students can take a break and be fully present and happy. From checking out the latest messages on our Racial Harmony wall to getting a toy flag from the school bookshop to celebrate National Day, there is never a dull moment! The close bond of our Kranji Primary School family makes these moments even more magical!
Marsiling synergy boost
By Mr Zaki Zulfakar
Marsiling Secondary School
The pandemic has not dampened our MSS spirit. By adhering to safe management measures, we could still have “de-stressing” activities. Our colour coded monthly “FUN-Fri-YAY” see our staff being unified in spirit and colours. A fellow teacher conducted a baking workshop because food never fails to make people happy. Our staff bonding is focused on self-care, and we believe that camaraderie is key to a good working relationship and support system.
The unsung heroes of Evergreen Primary School
By Mr Saravanan Kandasamy
Evergreen Primary School
Every day, a small army of unsung heroes work tirelessly and efficiently to ensure that the school runs like clockwork. The non-teaching staff of EGPS may be unknown faces, but their contributions to the school remain priceless. This is our tribute to them – thank you!
