United as One

I hate to admit it, but Singapore is preventing me from conquering the world! From the circuit breaker to reopening of schools, everyone is playing their part to keep Singapore safe from me. In schools, I have very few opportunities to wreak havoc with the relentless measures in place. There are visual checks, temperature taking and hand sanitising. In classrooms, fixed seating and wiping down of tables prevent me from doing my worst! During recess, the students will not even talk or mingle. Then, they return safely to their parents at the end of the day. Sigh…

As the pandemic continues, the TMJC community continues to stand united. Forging ahead, we want to continue keeping our students safe so that they can have dynamic and robust educational experiences. Each of our students is an adventurer and as we help them navigate this crisis, we want them to know that no one should walk alone. In TMJC, we reach out to help one another along this journey because as a community, we want to be better together!

The Covid-19 has affected all our lives in schools. We have new norms to follow to ensure that we are all safe. Each of us continue to play our part diligently in our different roles, whether is it a school leader who makes executive decisions, the workshop instructor who prepares the teaching materials, or the security guard who tracks the visitors. We rally together, working closely as a team, to ensure that the school is safe as a community for our students.
