When I was given this opportunity to take photographs of our school’s performance, I made sure to capture moments that resonated with me the most. I watched the band members prepare for their performance with determination and great teamwork. Their heartfelt words of encouragement to each other also impacted me greatly.

Seeing them so synchronised while performing was inspiring — I could tell how bonded they were as a team solely from this one performance! The raucous applause from the audience was definitely well deserved. Although I was not able to fully appreciate this performance from the audience seats, this experience certainly touched my heart.

This year's Sports Day in Crescent is best described with the phrase "priceless moments". That day, we hoped for sunny and clear skies. However, it rained heavily and we were not able to carry out the activities we had worked hard to plan for. Though this happened, I got to witness many moments where I felt the warmth and unity of the Crescentian spirit, and how we never let the negative things around us dim our high spirits. The photographs captured the memories, and the priceless experiences we had were captured in our hearts.

Precious Memories, Priceless Moments

There was excitement in the air as we watched the seniors from Xin Yuan Community enter our school. Once their eyes met ours, warm smiles broke out on their faces. We played games together and taught them how to take photos using digital cameras.

Despite our age differences, we became friends with them very quickly. They taught us the importance of lifelong learning with their perseverance and openness towards learning. Through this meaningful activity, we also discovered a different side of our friends. Classmates, who are usually cheeky and playful, transformed into thoughtful and caring students as they interacted with the seniors with love and respect. We will treasure this precious memory we shared with the seniors and our friends.
