ITE Early Admissions Exercise (ITE EAE)

1. Overview

What is ITE EAE?

Institute of Technical Education Early Admission Exercise (ITE EAE) is an aptitude-based admissions exercise that allows students to apply and receive conditional offers for admission to ITE before receiving their O-Level or N-Level examinations results, or final Nitec Grade Point Average (GPA).

Who can apply

ITE EAE is open to:

  • Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) who are sitting for the N-Level or O-Level examinations in the year of the application.
  • International students in government, government-aided and independent schools who are sitting for the N-Level or O-Level examinations in the year of the application.
  • Full-time Nitec or Traineeship students who will graduate in the same academic year as the ITE EAE.
  • SCs and PRs who sat for the N-Level or O-Level examinations previously or have graduated from ITE full-time Nitec or Traineeship courses in the preceding years.
  • SC/PR working adults with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

You can apply for 2-year Nitec or 3-year Higher Nitec courses through the ITE EAE portal.

Attend interviews

If shortlisted, the ITE colleges will contact you for an interview.

Offers and acceptance

You will receive a notification of the results. You need to accept the offer through the ITE EAE portal before the deadline stated.

Any student who does not complete the online acceptance by the stated date will be deemed to have rejected the offer.

Withdrawal

If you decide to withdraw from the conditional offer after having accepted it earlier, you must submit your withdrawal request to training@ite.edu.sg by 12pm on Friday, 6 September 2024.

If you accepted an offer but did not withdraw by the deadline, you cannot switch courses within or between ITE colleges once your offer is confirmed upon the release of your examination results.
