3. Documents required
Upload the following documents (each attachment file must not exceed 1MB in size) via the GoBusiness online application:
1. A1-sized copy of the approved floor plan (building layout) by SCDF’s Fire Safety and Shelter Department (FSSD)
- The project description should state that the project is for school, tuition centre or enrichment centre.

2. Fire Safety Certificate (FSC)

3. Grant of Written Permission from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) or Approval on Use of Premises from the Housing and Development Board (HDB) as a commercial school/tuition centre/enrichment centre

4. One of the following to appoint the members of the Committee of Management of the School (SMC), depending on the type of entity:
- Appointment Note for sole-proprietorship, partnership and limited liability partnership; or
- Directors’ Resolution for company.
- Extracts of Minutes of Meeting of the appointment (if applicable)

9. Copies of personal identification documents for teacher(s) and SMC member(s)
- Front and back of NRIC for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

10. Education qualifications of teacher(s)
- Include all relevant certificates and transcripts (i.e., 'O' level, 'A' level, Degree certificate and transcripts, or other applicable qualifications).
- If the documents are not in English, they must be notarial-translated.
- Include any previous Permission to Teach letters from MOE (if applicable).

- The information for the company's director(s) and shareholder(s) from Bizfile (ACRA) will be automatically populated in the online application form and cannot be edited.
- For the Declaration for Companies (Item 5ii of the online application form), please refer to your business constitution and select the relevant clauses for your company.
After you submit your application online
The estimated processing time for an application is 14 days upon receiving a complete set of documents in good order, and the applicant having met all requirements during the site visit, whichever is the latest.
If amendments or clarifications are required, please await contact from the case officer, who will reach out via email or through the "Request for Action (RFA)" feature in the online application. We will schedule a site inspection of your school once your documents are deemed acceptable.
