REPLAY – The Musical

Preparations for the biennial Clementi Town Secondary School Musical – REPLAY – was gruelling and intense for both cast and crew. Despite this, none of the students complained. Instead, they constantly motivated one another and persevered to make the school musical come to life, forging close friendships. The cast helped each other with their lines, makeup, and costumes. This unique CTSS musical has left us with unforgettable memories, which will always be replayed as precious little moments in our hearts.

Our school invites partners from the industry to give us a taste of work in the real world. These partnerships allow us to work with chefs and learn new techniques. Together with these professionals, students specialising in culinary skills learnt how to prepare and plate food, while the Hospitality Services students learnt how to introduce the dishes and serve them to our guests. We are thankful for this chance to hone our skills before we move on to ITE.

Since the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, NYJCians are finally able to engage in activities with our friends, in person. This builds stronger bonds and camaraderie through our participation in CCAs, sports and events. It has been a long time since the school has been brought together; displaying togetherness and team spirit embodies our school motto of “Together We Build”. We are constantly reminded to relish every precious moment we have with our friends, so that when we look back, we can reminisce about these priceless moments and remind ourselves of how much closer we have grown.
