Hi! I’m Jashwita!
By Ridwan Bin Razali
Fernvale Primary School
Teacher Facilitator: Ms Siti Erliasari Binte Haroon

I wish to share my priceless moments in my Primary 1 journey. On my first day, I was excited but nervous about making new friends after leaving kindergarten.

However, I met Amma and Olivia. They invited me to play hopscotch, marking the start of our friendship. Amma would lift me up, both literally and figuratively. Our friendship grew through experiences such as building a tall newspaper tower and playing Spot It together. One unforgettable memory would be our first trip to the zoo.

I’m glad that my Primary 1 journey turned into an adventure full of laughter, learning, and new friends.

Cultural Kaleidoscope: Embracing Malay Culture through Mother Tongue Fortnight
By Maryam Binte Ali, Barqah Muscaty Binte Abdul Kadir, Nur Damia Zhafirah Binti Abdul Rahman
Innova Primary School
Teacher Facilitator: Mdm Nur Hazwani Hamzah

Mother Tongue Fortnight was an unforgettable highlight in our school. We enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, such as kite-making, kampung house crafting, and mat weaving. We also immersed ourselves in cultural activities such as learning traditional dance, playing traditional games, and even participating in the simulation of a traditional wedding ceremony!

These fun programmes sparked our joy in discovering and learning more about Malay culture. We appreciated the opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of our heritage and to feel connected to the past.

I will always keep these moments close to my heart.

Victory Through Unity: The Spirit of Sports Day
By Kristen Liu Wenqi, Charmaine U Zhi Yien, Yan Yi Hao Helios
Endeavour Primary School
Teacher Facilitator: Ms Eng Cui Shan

On Sports Day, every student strives to clinch a medal for themselves and their class. The dedicated ones carve out precious time from their busy schedules to run for the win. Their classmates scream with joy and excitement when they do win.

The ones standing at the sidelines also practise the sport of cheering. The sight of them waving banners and pom poms to support their peers makes a worthwhile memory to cherish and remember.

Overall, Sports Day clearly showcases the values of hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
