MOE Kindergarten – Early Years Centre (EYC) Partnership

We have partnered with 2 Anchor Operators – PCF Sparkletots (PCF) and NTUC First Campus’ My First Skool (MFS) to provide a continuum of quality and affordable preschool education for children aged 2 months to 6 years.

Overview

Under this partnership, your child will attend an Early Years Centre (EYC) operated by PCF and MFS when they are 2 months to 4 years old.

Eligible children in the EYCs are guaranteed a place at a partner MOE Kindergarten (MK). You can choose to enrol at the partner MK for their Kindergarten 1 (K1) and Kindergarten 2 (K2) programme. This allows your child to have a seamless transition to K1 in the year they turn 5.

To provide parents with the choice of more partner MK options, three expanded MK-EYC partnership clusters in Ang Mo Kio, Jurong West, and Sembawang will be included in the 2024 MK Registration Exercise. An additional expanded MK-EYC partnership cluster in Tampines will be implemented from the 2025 MK Registration Exercise.

Use SchoolFinder or refer to the MK-EYC listing to find MKs near you that have partner EYCs. More information on the partner EYCs is also available on the PCF and MFS websites.

Who is eligible

All SC and PR children enrolled in an EYC by 31 January of their Nursery 2 (N2) year will be offered a K1 place in a partner MK, if they register via the EYC registration form during the MK Registration Exercise. Learn about the MK registration process for children enrolled in an EYC.

What parents are saying

"I believe young parents might get anxious about registration to primary school. So when I found out about the transition for my child in Early Years Centre Nursery 2 to a guaranteed Kindergarten 1 place in MK, and the opportunity for priority admission to my preferred primary school, I left my anxiety behind. I felt that this MK-EYC partnership is wonderful as it helps parents and children to go through the various transition phases with ease."

— Parent of Nur Armel’lia, from MK@Fern Green

"I believe that the MK-EYC partnership is important for the children as with the transition efforts, the children are well prepared to take the next step and would feel at ease when going into a new environment. It would also build up excitement for the children so that they can look forward to continuing their learning journey."

— Parent of Aveer, from MK@Wellington and its partner EYC
