Register for MOE Kindergarten

1. Overview

You can register your child for the 2025 Kindergarten 1 (K1) admission to an MOE Kindergarten (MK) if your child is:

  • A Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR); and
  • Born between 2 January 2020 and 1 January 2021, both dates inclusive.
  • New MKs opening in 2025 will only have K1 classes. The new MKs are MK@Elias Park and MK@Hougang.
  • If you are interested to register your SC/PR child for Kindergarten 2 (K2) admission, contact your preferred MK directly. K2 admission is subject to the availability of places.
  • If you are an SC parent with a child who is an international student, your child may be considered for admission, if there are still vacancies in the MK after all SC and PR children have been admitted. You may contact your preferred MK directly to check on the available vacancies for 2024 K1/K2 admission. For 2025 K1 admission, you may contact your preferred MK directly from Sep 2024 onwards. Admission is not guaranteed due to limited vacancies.

Online registration

You will need to register your child online for K1 admission to an MK. The online registration exercise is typically held in February.

Applying after the online registration exercise

If you have missed the online registration exercise, contact your preferred MK directly.

Places will be first allocated to applications received during the registration period. Applications submitted after the registration period are subject to available vacancies. If there are no vacancies, your application will be placed on the waitlist.

The MK will inform you if there is a vacancy for your child.

Registration outcome

You will receive the registration outcome about 2 months after online registration closes.

Acceptance of offer

If your child is offered a place, you will need to indicate your acceptance online via a link in the outcome e-mail by the specified deadline.
