Register for MOE Kindergarten

1. Overview

You can register your child for the 2026 Kindergarten 1 (K1) admission to an MOE Kindergarten (MK) if your child is:
  • A Singapore Citizen (SC) or Permanent Resident (PR); and
  • Born between 2 January 2021 and 1 January 2022, both dates inclusive.
MK@Pioneer will be opening in 2026 and will only have K1 classes.
You can contact your preferred MK directly if:

Your child's birthday falls on 1 January 2021
They are due for K1 in 2025. However, this will mean that they will attend K1 one year earlier than their peers born in the same year.

If you want your child to start K1 in 2026 instead, you can contact your preferred MK directly for assistance.
You are registering your SC/PR child for K2 admission
K2 admission is subject to the availability of places.
You are an SC parent with a child who is an international student
Your child may be considered for admission if there are vacancies remaining in the MK after all SC and PR children have been admitted. Admission is not guaranteed due to limited vacancies.

Registration Timeline

Feb 2025

Online registration

Online registration for 2026 K1 admissions for both Open Admissions (OA) and Early Years Centre (EYC) children will open from 9am on Friday, 7 February 2025 and close at 4pm on Monday, 17 February 2025.

Applying after the online registration exercise

If you have missed the online registration exercise, contact your preferred MK directly.

Places will be first allocated to applications received during the registration period. Applications submitted after the registration period are subject to available vacancies. If there are no vacancies, your application will be placed on the waitlist.

The MK will inform you if there is a vacancy for your child.

Apr 2025

Registration outcome

You will be notified of the registration outcome via e-mail by Tuesday, 15 April 2025.

Acceptance of offer

If your child is offered a place, you will need to indicate your acceptance online via a link in the outcome e-mail by the specified deadline.
