3. How to register

Online registration for 2026 Kindergarten 1 (K1) admissions for both Open Admissions (OA) and Early Years Centre (EYC) children will open from 9am on Friday, 7 February 2025 and close at 4pm on Monday, 17 February 2025.

Note: If you wish to enrol your child with hearing loss requiring signing in MOE Kindergarten (MK) @ Mayflower, you do not need to register during the 2025 MK Registration Exercise. Learn about the admission process.

Find out about OA and EYC registration:

OA registration
OA registration for 2026 K1 admissions is open to Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident children who are:
  • Born between 2 January 2021 and 1 January 2022 (both dates inclusive); and are
  • Either not enrolled in any partner EYCs, or currently enrolled in an EYC but registering for a non-partner MK.
Places for children registering via OA will be allocated based on the admission priority order.
EYC registration
EYC registration for 2026 K1 admissions is meant for Singapore Citizen (SC) and Permanent Resident (PR) who are:
  • Born between 2 January 2021 and 1 January 2022 (both dates inclusive); and are
  • Nursery 2 children from an EYC registering for K1 in a partner MK in 2025.

SC and PR children enrolled in an EYC are guaranteed a K1 place in a partner MK, if they:

  • Meet the relevant eligibility criteria (eligible children would receive a notification letter from their EYC by 31 January 2025); and
  • Register via the EYC application form.

You may refer to the list of EYCs and their partner MKs.

If you decide not to register your child via EYC admissions, or if you later choose not to accept the guaranteed K1 place, your child’s K1 place in the partner MK will be forfeited.

If you decide to register your child at a non-partner MK:

  • Use the OA application form.
  • Your OA application will be subject to the same conditions as all other OA applications.

To begin, click on the “Start Registration” button below to access the questionnaire. Upon completing the questionnaire, the online application form button will be displayed.

You can refer to the MK online registration guide or contact your preferred MK directly, if you need help.

Additional Information

  • You can only register your SC / PR child at one MK. Multiple applications will not be accepted. If you need to amend your submitted application details or wish to register your child for a different MK, you can submit a new application. We will only consider the latest application received within the stipulated MK registration period.
  • If you have submitted both EYC and OA applications, we will only consider the latest application received within the stipulated MK registration period.

Registering for Primary 1 (P1) under Phase 2A

SC and PR children from the MK are eligible to register under Phase 2A during the P1 Registration Exercise for admission to the respective primary school their MK is located within. However, admission is not guaranteed as balloting will be conducted when the number of applicants in Phase 2A exceeds the school vacancies. Learn about P1 registration.
