Private education

Private schools conducting education and training such as tuition and enrichment must register their school, courses offered and teachers with us.

System Migration

We will be transitioning our current application portal, LicenceOne to a new GoBusiness portal.

From Sunday, 1 December 2024, all applications for the following will be suspended:

  • Registration of new private school
  • Amendment to existing school registration, which includes:
    1. Courses offered and teachers permitted to teach.
    2. Members in the management committee.
    3. Relocation or expansion of your school.
    4. School name.
    5. Termination or closure of your school.

The new GoBusiness portal is expected to be available in early January 2025. The link to the portal will be available on this page then.

To minimise the inconvenience for you, please pay special attention to the following:

  • Applications submitted on or after Sunday, 1 December 2024, will not be processed. You will have to submit a new application via the GoBusiness portal.
  • Applications submitted on or earlier than Saturday, 30 November 2024, must be completed and paid for before the GoBusiness portal is operational in early January 2025. Incomplete and unpaid applications will be voided and you have to submit a new application via the GoBusiness portal.
  • If you do not have all the required documents, you are strongly encouraged to submit your application only in early January 2025 when the GoBusiness portal is ready.
